A deity is a being of great power that resides within a solstar. It is said that their power increases with followers and worship. According to legends, any figure can rise to deitic power. Certain deities are believed to have existed on the mortal planes, such as Moradin.
This view can be considered highly controversial, however. It is unwise to tell a devout that their god was mortal without knowing their stance beforehand.
